I read Pandora when it was first release as a hardback and loved every page. This was many years ago and I am currently re reading Jilly's books on Kindle. Highly recommended !

After my first Jilly Cooper book, I got completely hooked. They are funny, witty and have these wonderful plots. I have loved each and every one of them. I always went in mourning when there were no Jilly's to read

Typical JC, not quite as good as some of her others and maybe a bit samey (there always seems to be a dowdy, middle age female who some rich stud finds very appealing hope for me yet then!).

  4. says:

So, so. Not like her old ones.

  5. says:

Not my favorite, but, definitely couldn't put it down, either. Lover her stuff!!! I'm on my second time around on all her books, and am sad to say I'm done, again. Jilly we need books!

i have the complete collection in paperback along with many other authors and series, so my husband bought me a kindle and i bought the whole collection again!! i love the characters especially R C B and Declan O Hara and thry pop up in many of the follow up books, though each book tells a whole new story with new lovable characters.

Love it love it love it.

A book at the intersection of hope and faith. I recommend it. I have read all of her books and this one did not disappoint.

Fun, easy to read, superb characters. Misbehaving Britons at play.

    Buy it.

  10. says:

I was a huge fan of Riders, Rivals and Polo. I devoured each book very quickly, but was then devastated when they finished. I know there are other books in that series, I have read them, but they never lived up to the first three. Enter Pandora, Jilly Cooper, back to her best. Great plot, great cast of characters, both human and animal. This book made me laugh, made me cry, made me not want to put it down.

  11. says:

Re reading these books from my twenties and it's wonderful to rediscover old characters written by the fabulous Jilly Cooper.

  12. says:

I gave up at chapter 10. I thought all the characters were charmless and I wasn't sufficiently engaged by what I presume will be the plot to stick with it.
