    What? What was that? I can't believe I finished this book I should have abandoned it when it just didn't make sense to me It kinda got interesting in the middle but then petered out again I found it overly descriptive repetitive and confusing I had previously read Mermaid which was a lovely and far concise book and that was why I tried this one For me Godmother is less fairytale retelling crazy lady needs a therapist Not good
