Molly and Finn Alcott had the picture perfect marriage With two gorgeous children a lovely home and their own business they were the couple others aspired to be But when news of their divorce spreads through town like wildfire it sends their beautiful image up in flam. LETTERS TO MOLLY Is the second full length romance novel in Devney Perry s Maysen Jar series In this we meet Molly and Finn Spoken in Dual POV sWe re first introduced to this couple Molly Finn when Poppy Molly s best friend who we met in the first book gets all her favourite people all in one place for dinner before Finn gets too busy with his last two semesters of school And it was the perfect time for Finn to meet her new boyfriend Jamie From that first meet with Molly things moved relatively uickly to falling in love and finding themselves living the American dream From marrying buying their own home to setting up their own business to having two children Kali Max But along the way their American dream collapsed around them and they found themselves divorced walls of communication had come tumbling down both at fault both hurt beyond repair until there was nothing left to salvage and they are left to co parent Some mistakes were unforgivable Some mistakes ame with regret that lived like a monster in your soul NOW They have been divorced for six years and three months Molly was relatively happy being single and Finn seemed happy enough in the dating pool She was working at The Maysen Jar alongside her best friend Poppy But out of the blue a letter arrives in her mailbox seemly written by Finn fifteen years ago after their very first date which he d never given to herShe s even surprised when start arriving up and with them has her eyes opening up to what may have been the catalyst to their break up And the thing is Finn actually isn t the one sending them to her they were apparently taken from his apartment They ve made us talk through some old arguments Relive some good moments I think it s healed a lot of the wounds we inflicted on one another These letters had me looking at Finn in a whole new lightI grew to love him I hurt alongside him I rooted for their journey to come back together as a whole This was such a beautiful heartfelt second chance romance I went into this one completely blind but on tippy toe not really knowing what to expect I loved the previous book so I was hoping I d love this one just as much And I did This story was perfectly imperfect it was heartbreakingly beautiful a roller coaster of emotional turmoil as the author threw all that she could at me As soon as I started this I was hooked the author just nailed it the perfect combination of past and present the journey these two took us on hit me in the feels I felt everything Such an utterly uniue story that once started I couldn t put it down Teasers off the authors facebook page

EsMolly spends years mending her broken heart She finds joy in a life centered around her kids and career Her happiness has a different picture nowThen one day she finds a letter in her mailbox Written in Finn’s handwriting dated over fifteen years ago it’s a lett. I m in a uandary with this oneI was hesitant to start this story when it hit my Kindle If I was to write a bullet point summary of Letters to Molly you would surely be convinced that there was no hope for Molly and Finn I already knew things about this couple that did not put them in a favourable light But I also knew that these characters were very human vulnerable and capable of love loyalty and compassion How did I end up enjoying a story with a subject matter that I normally HATE Well I guess it all comes down to how well it s writtenThere were so many times I uestioned Devney Perry s ability to turn my feelings around from anger to happiness I was suinty eyed fuming and uncertain whether I wanted Finn and Molly to have their happy ever after So many mistakes years of guilt heartbreak and loneliness that could have all been avoided if they had only communicated and put their marriage firstEven as I m typing this review I m still in a uandary about my feelings On one hand Finn s obliviousness made me so angry I wanted to scream and shout at him On the other hand his willingness to admit his faults and work towards fixing their problems was something I came to love With Molly at first I believed her crime was unforgivable and I wrote her off as unredeemable Then when all the letters had been read the raw feelings exposed I couldn t help but reassess my hasty judgement Geez it s so easy to judge without knowing the full story and for a wee while there I know I closed myself off from giving these two a fair shot at happiness Even I know that marriage is hard work and isn t always perfect It s easy to put others needs ahead of your own when you have kids in the mix I m even familiar with having a family business that can take over your life I SHOULD have been the first person to read without judgement and give these two a chance and I didn t I guess I ll have to remember this moment for my future readsI really enjoyed reading Letters to Molly and getting the chance to see this once happy couple find happiness and love again The characters were interesting and very realistic the storyline kept my attention from start to finish and Finn and Molly s love story was proof that love can conuer all I definitely recommend
