The Rarest Rose

Me againBut when Sarah’s past comes back to haunt her it threatens to destroy everything she's built and there's no guarantee that either of them will make it out unscath Good but a Little Tame for MeWith the Rarest Rose HA Robinson gives readers a sweet romance with a bit of a dark side lingering around it While you can see what s going on from a mile away it was a nice build up before the action hit Loneliness was a companion I had gradually come to accept as a part of myself as natural to be by then as breathing in and out SarahShe s in a self imposed isolation afraid of everything around her Sarah doesn t go out of her house much due to the trappings of her past She s made a new life where she is well hidden and doesn t need to leave for anything All bills are paid online and all supplies are delivered straight to her door To her past she doesn t exist anyOn a long overdue vacation Elijah and his mangy mutt stumble upon a young woman on the cliffs by the water He s pretty sure he hasn t seen her in the days he s been out before and when his dog approaches her she s welcoming of the mutt than him She s timid and shy and with his line of work Elijah can see the beautiful Sarah has been hurt in the past If it wasn t for the emergency situation at her cottage he doesn t think she would have ever invited him in Once she did he was hookedWe follow along as these two try to learn about each other all the while Sarah keeping Elijah mostly in the dark It was an interesting journey with them as he tried and tried to get her to open up about her past It s obvious she s in hiding he just needed to know what fromThe book is well written with a huge set up and uite the climatic ending While there wasn t a ton of sex a story like this didn t need it It was about learning helping and loving each other I will admit to missing some angst in the beginning however the ending pretty much made up for itReviewed for Renee Entress s Blog

This was a sweet romance with some dark edges you are aware from the beginning that the heroine is hiding from someone or running from something small hints are dropped and there is a lingering unease about the story Elijah is strong and kind and sensitive his calm gentle handling of situations creates a strong bond between them that she cannot denyDramatic scenes toward the end of the story with some really lovely heart warming momentsA
