    This is my first book by Joanna Bourne and I'm glad I've been collecting her books in my tbr pile She's an excellent writer with that rich voice I love so much in historical romance Her characters are complex and the romance drew me in and had me holding my breath I loved Pax Cami was a singular heroine lethal in her own right This is also an excellent spy novel I love genuine spy storiesDefinitely recommendedOverall r
