THE PRISONWORLD TRILOGY VOLUME TWOMadam Emmeline MacKinsey isn’t an old tart Sure she runs the most lucrative cathouse in the East End but she’s never spread her legs for money In fact the life she led before embarking upon her relatively new vocation as a procuress is a topic that remains lar Didn t enjoy this as much as the first We learn about Lina and Carmen s history which was interesting but I didn t like Lina s character much this book For being characterized as a strong independent woman that grew up on the streets conning people she seems to cry and get pushed around a lot in this book and some of the things she does are disappointing The atmosphere in the second book seems to be setting the stage for a satisfying conclusion to this trilogy though so I look forward to the next book The Coquette and the Boarding School runs the most lucrative cathouse in the East End but she’s never spread her legs for money In fact the life she led before embarking upon her Imagimorphia relatively new vocation as a procuress is a topic that The Book of Beginnings remains lar Didn t enjoy this as much as the first We learn about Lina and Carmen s history which was interesting but I didn t like Lina s character much this book For being characterized as a strong independent woman that grew up on the streets conning people she seems to cry and get pushed around a lot in this book and some of the things she does are disappointing The atmosphere in the second book seems to be setting the stage for a satisfying conclusion to this trilogy though so I look forward to the next book

Didn't enjoy this as much as the first We learn about Lina and Carmen's history which was interesting but I didn't like Lina's character much this book For being characterized as a strong independent woman that grew up on the streets conning people she seems to cry and get pushed around a lot in this book and some of the things she does are disappointing The atmosphere in the second book seems to be setting the stage

All the books by Keira Michelle Telford skirt very close to the morally icky line so they're not exactly reads that will appeal to most readers and it's probably the reason why she is self published But if you like age gap relationships are not repulsed by pretty icky stuff and want to try dark stories with unconventional love this would be a series to try Theirs is a really abnormal love story but I am waiting for volume three
