Not just another dragon bookLovers of the genre will find everything they want in Fury the intriguing world flawless in detail massive in scope populated by the pompous chief his band of thief takers hilarious drunks grasping peasants – and the pathetic boy whose only merit is a bravery so stupid reckless and desperate it’s only a matter of time before one of the stony foreign legionnaires pommel whips his brains out

It took a little while for me to get into the story but once it started rolling it was a fun adventure I appreciated that all the characters had flaws of some sort One of the villains even had a speck goodness left in them at least the hero thought soI struggled with the language of the characters it felt a little too present day sometimes

  4. says:

Very excellent book Dragons and sword fighting and all that It was light and amusing at times but with enough excitement to keep you reading I particularly liked that it was long enough to let you really get to know the characters And that there was a real ending Just open enough to let you think there will be

I won this in a goodreads giveaway in exchange for an honest reviewThis was a type of book that was very different from what I'm used to reading that's for sure And this book didn't disappoint There was a lot of action adventure that I was at the edge of my seat most of the time

Good Book good adventure and no cliff hanger Though the DC Michelson does have a few relics to write about and be discovered I don't give out spoilers but I really liked the interaction between the two err three boys Can't wait for the next book

  8. says:

This was a fun little book A good story well told with characters that for the most part rang true with only a couple of minor missteps An enjoyable little fantasy tale and I'll be looking for future novels in Mr Mickelson's series

  9. says:

Highly entertaining and cleverly written I can't wait for the second book in the trilogy

  10. says:

I enjoyed this book uite a bit While the ending leaves things open for further adventures it did at least end with a reasonable sense of closure rather than a cliff hanger which I appreciated

High sorcery lives on only in legend The Relics are lost A human empire founded on the spade than the blade has tamed the wild lands where dragons once wielded their fiery lordship But not all have forgotten the old ways An ancient evil is stirring and the Relics of Power are only scattered not destroyed None of this troubles Triston Slendrake He.
