Health Goals

Baaaah!

So I faltered towards the end of the month. I managed 15,000+ steps most days in August up to the 26th, when Lily got a lil sick. Then I stopped watching my food intake and steps per day.

I did not count calories exactly, but I tried to be aware of what I was putting in me. I was aiming for 1800 – 2000 calories a day. I actually found I was not eating enough. Theres a horror laundry list of health problems that can cause.

I am down to 10.7 stone from 11 stone from months beginning and my legs have tone back. My legs have always been my most awesome feature so thats pretty awesome.

Well, kudos off to you. My journey has been halted a bit in that hubby has fallen sick and the stress has taken over. I did yoga for the first time today in over a week. I feel terrible bout that but, luckily, I don’t really need to do yoga as badly as I needed it a little over a year ago. So I guess I can miss some days, although I’d rather not.

Sickness and the related stress can’t be avoided sometimes. Its good you don’t need yoga as much as you did. I don’t expect I’ll maintain 15k steps a day over winter, but I would like to be at a point where I feel I don’t need to by the time winter arrives.

      Hope your husband recovers OK!

Sounds like you did okay though. Don’t sweat the little stuff. Being more aware of what goes into our bodies is a step in the right direction. I need to start counting calories again. When I quit, I gain, or, at least don’t lose and I have about 35 pounds that need to go.

Deffo helps being aware if what’s going in. I find staying under 2000 calories a day quite easy, but making sure it’s the right calories is what I need to be aware of you know?

35 pounds is a little over two stone right? That’s certainly doable!

Well, you’ve got less to lose than me. šŸ™‚

Hubby is sick and we’re spending a lot of time at doctors offices and having tests run. That’s not happening.

But, I know you’re going to get that 35# erased from you in no time at all.

Hah! I’ve got you both beat. I have much more than 35# to go but I think I’m finally on the right track again. Hubby’s been sick and that’s just taken everything out of me and the good habits I had created have all gone out the window. But I think I’m starting with the right attitude again and I’m trying to keep myself busy with the needed housework that I’ve neglected for way too long. So here’s to all of us attaining our weight loss goals.
