Logitech Ultra Thin Mouse

logitch ultra thin mouse

Holy crap I love this thing. I got it from PC world when it first came out, it is available on Amazon here.

Its super smooth, like a pebble under your hand. The mouse button is sort of on the underside, and it has a right and left click when you press where the buttons should be. You scroll by moving your finger over the mouse like you would a scroll wheel, its touch sensitive. It connects via blue tooth and works with every PC and Android device I have tried it with. Its ultra portable and fits in the little pockets in laptop & tablet bags. You can pair it with 2 different devices, it lasts months of a single charge and quite frankly, for a mouse, it looks quite sexy.

The only downsides I could say is that its buttons make loud clicks and the USB charger point is on the bottom so you cannot charge it and use it.

Neither of those are downsides. Unless you live with someone OCD about silence, they may kill you about the clicks. Being killed is definitely a downside.

Thanks for the review. I am using an older version, the M555b, but this new one looks much nicer πŸ™‚

And the older Bluetooth version of Logitech mouse has a pretty loud click too. Not been killed yet. Although threatened a few times πŸ˜‰

You are welcome! To be honest our Logitech keyboards last forever as well. The keys tend to loose their print before they stop working. I expect your mouse will do the same. πŸ™‚

How loud is “loud” if I may ask. My roommate DOES have a thing about noise, but our walls are pretty soundproof.

Loud enough to drive someone in the same room nuts. Probably not in the next room if your walls are fairly sound. 😊

Perfect for compact laptops. It has a switch on the underside to for first pairing and second pairing.

I have to follow up with a “THANKS!” from across the pond. This article sent me on the quest for a good, “real” mouse. I live off the short, fat $9 2.4ghz wireless things. I don’t care for them, don’t hate them. I do hate wires. I ended up with a Microsoft “designer” (I love the trendsetter feeling that imparts) mouse. Seventeen bucks US on Amazon. Small, light, Bluetooth. Works on a cheap Windows tablet, an LG Android tablet and ny computer with Bluetooth. One mouse. I tote it around the house, fits in a pocket, works on everything. So “THANKS” again. Little squatty mice are unhip and gone.

You are welcome Phil, does it pair with all 3 devices or do you need to re-pair each time you switch?
